I acquired my first Munchkins before they were a recognized breed, I fell in love with the shortlegged cats called "Baby Legs". I got a pair and started breeding, I worked tirelessly for many years going to shows where these adorable dwarfs were called freaks, trying to introduce them to the public. I traveled many miles for many years and eventually these cats became a recognized breed with TICA, and then TDCA (www.dwarf-cat.com), I was the first elected breed chair, why does this all matter you might ask? Well it goes to show that I have been around a long time breeding, promoting and loving these short-legged cats.
